Set in the hills, 800 metres above sea level, the beautiful Cortijo de la Reina Hotel comprises several separate buildings and nestles amid olive, pine and almond trees and holm oaks, as well as numerous citrus trees. The main building houses many comfortable public areas, where guests can quietly read or socialise. The 18 guestrooms are tastefully decorated in dark wood, with high ceilings and wonderful beds and linen. All have beautiful views over the hills. The bathrooms are decoratively tiled in grey marble and are very clean. The hotel also offers a rich buffet breakfast and an elegant restaurant serving regional cuisine. Guests often comment that the hotel is luxurious without being haughty and the staff pleasant and extremely helpful. There are also great nature trails for hiking/biking all around.
